Il n’y a vraiment rien de plus cool que les Camaros de premi\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9ration. Ces Chevrolet pony cars ont connu un succ\u00e8s imm\u00e9diat lorsqu’elles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 introduites pour la premi\u00e8re fois en 1967 et l’int\u00e9r\u00eat des Am\u00e9ricains pour ces voitures n’a fait que cro\u00eetre. Garage Kept Motors est fier de pr\u00e9senter cette Chevrolet Camaro Super Sport 1968 \u00e0 vendre.<\/p>\n

Cette voiture a \u00e9t\u00e9 repeinte dans la couleur Rallye Green d’usine avec la bande blanche \u00ab\u00a0bumblebee stripe\u00a0\u00bb (RPO D91) qui s’\u00e9tend sur le panneau avant et les ailes avant. La peinture a \u00e9t\u00e9 finie et polie pour obtenir un brillant profond. Les embl\u00e8mes SS et le capot orn\u00e9 d’a\u00e9rations sont pr\u00e9sents, de m\u00eame que les spoilers avant et arri\u00e8re d’origine. Les chromes des pare-chocs avant et arri\u00e8re et les garnitures en acier inoxydable sont bien entretenus et brillent de tous leurs feux. Un jeu de jantes American Racing Torq Thrust II en aluminium poli, chauss\u00e9es de pneus BF Goodrich Radial T\/A, accentue joliment le style d’origine de cette voiture.<\/p>\n

La sellerie int\u00e9rieure noire, le tableau de bord et les panneaux de porte sont d’origine et en bon \u00e9tat, sans aucune d\u00e9chirure, et la moquette et la garniture de plafond ont toutes deux \u00e9t\u00e9 remplac\u00e9es. Une jante en bois du march\u00e9 secondaire a \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9e et comporte un embout central en acier inoxydable. La radio d’usine a \u00e9t\u00e9 remplac\u00e9e par un Pioneer Super Tuner III avec AM\/FM et lecteur de CD. Elle est diffus\u00e9e par des haut-parleurs 6X9 mont\u00e9s \u00e0 l’arri\u00e8re. La bo\u00eete de vitesses manuelle est actionn\u00e9e par un levier Hurst et le moteur est surveill\u00e9 par un ensemble de jauges AutoMeter. Cette Camaro est \u00e9quip\u00e9e d’une climatisation d’usine am\u00e9lior\u00e9e par un compresseur rotatif et un embrayage modernes et convertie de R12 \u00e0 134a.<\/p>\n

Le capot est propre et l\u00e9g\u00e8rement d\u00e9taill\u00e9 avec un V8 350 entre les rails du ch\u00e2ssis. Le moteur a \u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9lior\u00e9 avec une admission Edelbrock Performer en aluminium, un carburateur Holley \u00e0 double alimentation et un distributeur \u00e9lectronique Accel. Un jeu de couvercles de soupapes en aluminium \u00e0 ailettes Chevrolet correctes pour l’\u00e9poque et un filtre \u00e0 air chrom\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9l\u00e9ment ouvert ajoutent une petite d\u00e9coration suppl\u00e9mentaire sous le capot. Les freins \u00e0 tambour d’origine ont \u00e9t\u00e9 remplac\u00e9s par des freins \u00e0 disque \u00e0 l’avant et des freins \u00e0 tambour \u00e0 l’arri\u00e8re, et cette voiture est \u00e9galement \u00e9quip\u00e9e d’une direction assist\u00e9e. Les documents d’accompagnement attestent que le moteur a \u00e9t\u00e9 bien entretenu par les propri\u00e9taires pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents.<\/p>\n

La suspension et le ch\u00e2ssis sont en bon \u00e9tat et comportent des barres stabilisatrices \u00e0 l’avant et \u00e0 l’arri\u00e8re. L’entretien r\u00e9cent comprend de nouvelles bagues de barre stabilisatrice \u00e0 l’avant, des amortisseurs \u00e0 l’avant et \u00e0 l’arri\u00e8re, ainsi qu’une r\u00e9vision des freins arri\u00e8re et une mise \u00e0 niveau des freins \u00e0 disque \u00e0 l’avant. Un nouveau r\u00e9servoir d’essence et une pompe \u00e0 essence \u00e9lectrique ont \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9s et le moteur ronronne \u00e0 travers un double \u00e9chappement avec des silencieux Flowmaster. Les planchers de cette Camaro ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9par\u00e9s avec un nouveau plancher de coffre et des plaques de sol avant et arri\u00e8re du c\u00f4t\u00e9 du conducteur.<\/p>\n
