The Camaro Z/28 is a special car straight out of the factory. Made to homologate the Camaro for the Trans American racing series, the Z/28 has special features that make it an amazing classic track car. This particular Z/28 currently in our inventory still sports its original numbers matching high performance 302C.I. V8 engine, aluminum Winter’s intake, numbers matching aluminum Muncie M21 close ratio transmission, and date correct 4.10 PosiTraction 12-bolt rear axle. Uniquely, this car was optioned without front or rear spoilers as many Z/28s had. This car also comes with its original Protect-O-Plate warranty card. What really makes this Camaro special though, is its history. This American muscle machine has been owned by the same family since it was bought new in 1969 and was provided with this fantastic photo of the original owner standing next to his pride and joy in April of 1972. Keeping and caring for a car of this caliber for so many years takes a lot of love, which this family obviously had for this very special Chevrolet.
